I have a '82 Z-28 and want to know how hard it would be to put side exhaust on it. I have an idea to mold the tips into to the rear of the ground f/x. im going to put a '92 front bumper and ground f/x on so this would be a good time to do the tips while the ground f/x are off. Any ideas?

The tips can't just be easily molded into the gfx (as in the mustang look).
The gfx do not stick that far out from the rocker paner and where you would need to cut (box) the rocker panel to actually conceal the pipe is roughly inline with the mount point for the rear tralling arm.
Doubt this will help the explaination but here...

WOW!!!!!!!
Are those 'stealth' ground effects?
You have to really look for them to see them?
Seriously..... why are they clear? Is that how they look before they're painted or gel coated?

I plan on starting a project like this when I get off work tonite. It won't be grafted into the gfx, but it will be more like a NASCAR exit. I will make sure to take pictures, and dimentions.

Actually.. I just laid 2 pix over each other to show that the gfx don't really extend down past the rocker panel by much at all.
To make the exhaust come out like a newer mustang, it would require extensive metal surgery to hide the pipe & keep it from hitting the mount for the trailing arm. Aside from having to do all that, mods would have to be made to the floorpans as well to put a muffler in there somewhere.. similar to what MikeC did to his floors. All in all.. I'd say it wouldn't be worth the time or effort just for the cosmetic appearance of it all.
