my 82 z28 350 doesn't have the smog pump and the egr system isn't hooked up i'm wondering if it had one to begin with because it has a cat and i don't know if it does the same thing if i have a cat and no smog pump will it still pass inspection if not what do i need to do to pass.

 

I see you live in grand Prairie.. I live in Garland.. if you need to get that car inspected I can probably help you out. An 82 Z28 did come with EGR and a smog pump along with the cat but it did not come with a 350. I have an 82 Z28 with no emmissions anything on it (pulled the fuel injection off, the computer out, the cat off, the AIR injection off, the smog pump off, and so on).
