I've made up my mind that I am getting the Hooker 2055 super comps that come with the Y-pipe. I will also have a catco cat along with a Hooker catback. Roughly how much hp would/ could that make? Also I should see any problems installing this should I? Oh ya I have an 89 IROC 5.7L.

 

It should all bolt up fine, just make sure to get a 3'' in/out cat, and if you want to save some cash get a cat, that has a square flange, and you can order the $200 hooker cat-back.

I'd say 30hp is a good estimate.

 

25-30hp sounds like a decent estimate...your gonna see a HUGE improvement in sound to

much much better sound

ditch the cat if you can.

 

Thanks guys, thats what I tought it would gain. I can't wait till I have enough money to purchase everything. I have to get the front nose repainted first though.
