Ok heres the deal. I currently live in Wisconsin and here depending on where you live it is very easy to not be require to take emissions tests. So with that in mind I removed all the smog equipment on my car. It has headers with no air tubes, the air pump is gone, cat is hollowed....... its all gone. My questions is what are the laws like in Flordia, because I may be moving there for a job when I graduate. Depending on how tough the laws are I think I might end up keeping my car registered in Wisconsin or something in order to not get screwed over. Any info on this would help alot. Thanks.

I'd say you might have better luck asking this on the SE board, or what ever board FL falls under.

Jeb Bush did away with the emission test because the air quality here is excellent and he relized it was sucking millions of dollars from fl. tax payers. Should have heard the cry from the enviros. He was re-elected so we're safe for another term, but you can bet that the company that does the test will be lobbying the next govenor. I must alert all the fl. car clubs so we can at least get exceptions for rodders. Any of you FL. guys/gals want to help!
