what tips come on american thunder
What kinda tips come on the american thunder...part number 17234...the guy at flowmaster says that they come with 3-inch tips. What are they like? How long, are they polished stainless?

I have part # 17234 and it came with dual 3" outs that are angled slightly down. The polished part goes back I'd say around a foot if not more. They look very good sticking out from under the car.
Hope this helps,
Jason

I wish I would have known of that kit when I did my exhaust. I got the catback (Am. Thunder) with the two limp-d*ck tips, so I cut those off at the bend, and welded up two Pep Boys 4" polished tips, which are tucked under my bumper and look great. They don't stick out too far, and at the same time, you can see them if you look from the rear, so not too bad. Also had the whole damned thing coated, along with headers & y-pipe. Bad part is, since it's Flowmaster, I'll probably have to change this out, for appearance reasons, in another year or so. But if you can get 'em with the SS tips, by all means, do it!
