I have a 92 Camaro L03. I want some headers, but I'm on a budget. I want a Y-Pipe included, and I'll get them coated on my own. Basically what I'm saying is that I don't want to spend $300 on my headers. I already have a Dynomax Cat-Back, so I'm ready to complete the circuit. Are there any suggestions? I've heard good things about Heddman, how about them?
Thanks all
Dave

The Hedman Headers I saw didn't come with a hole for the O2 sensor. How did you get past this?

the hedman headers without AIR run around $200 for headers and Y-pipe. The headers that come with AIR run around $300.

I had to take the driver side header to a weld shop and have it welded. You can buy the treaded piece from Jegs but it is like $8 and shipping is $8 and you are paying too much for a stupid little piece of steel. What I did to my Heddmans is this. I took the old cast iron manifold and a hack saw. I cut around the threaded part for the O2 sensor. Then I took it to a machine shop. I asked my dad if you could put iron and steel together. He told me to have it brazed together. It is a tricky proceedure but if the welder/machinist is worth anything, he could do it. I found a guy to do it and have not had any troubles yet. (I stripped the stupid paint off first.)

$15 solution (total) and the satisfaction I came up with a killer idea that saved me all the time and trouble.
