Holy cow have you ever seen the inside of one of these mufflers. They should be outlawed. The inlet goes straight to a dead end. I can barely even tell there is anywhere for the exhaust to go. I have no idea how it got out of the tailpipes.

I bought my car a few years ago and since the stock intermediate pipe is 2.75in. and the muffler was new on it I figured I was ok. The pipe over the axle grew a large hole in it so I decided to replace the pipe and muffler with dynomax 3" pieces. After seeing what that IMCO muffler looked like on the inside and feeling the incredible amount of difference the dynomax has made I am pissed I have been driving it like that for three years now.

I wonder if that hole is related to the incredible back pressure that was being developed.
