what should I get

I have a stock 1984 t/a 5.0 with the L69 engine and automatic tranny. I was thinking about Edelbrock TES headers. Would they work with all the smog junk? Also, the exhast pipe past the cat has holes in it. what would you guys recommend getting for headers and exhast? The car has a lot of miles on it, so I dont know if the cat is still good.

Go with the TES headers, but first fix that hole in the pipe go with a cat back system. Don't take the easy way out and use that bandage garbage either you casn start a fire that way. If your cat is shot and you don't have money to replace it gut it.

Yes, they have all of the required emissions fittings for the O2 sensor and the air tubes, and will bolt right up to your cat. I second the recommendation of getting a cat-back exhaust too, as well as gutting the cat if you don't have to pass emissions.
