Super Comp Shortie Hooker Headers

my jegs catalog lists them at 349.99 for 86-90 305-350 and including a crossover y-pipe

i have an 84 firebird thats gettings a 350
why does it list for 86-90? when thirdgen is 82-92?

Are these good headers for that price? Any horror stories from anyone?

They are only for the TPI engines that came with the 3" cat with the front slip-fit to the end of the Y-pipe. Earlier engines had smaller cats and/or bolt-on connections, so you'd need to have either the Y-pipe or the cat modified to fit properly. They're good for up to '92 cars with single cats, but obviously won't work with the dual-cat cars. I have these headers and they're great.
