replacing exhaust

heres the deal still have the factory exhaust system from when i had a 305 in my car and I know that it is even more restrictive then what a 350 should normally have, so I was wondering what I need to upgrade as well as go with performance exhaust? ect...headers,duals, or whatever give me some opinions

For comparison the differences start right in the manifolds (In the exits), the Y-pipe is smaller where it enters the cat, and your going to change the cat-back anyway.....

Start from scratch.

Yes borla is very expensive, but it is stainless steel so it won't rust and will last forever. SLP headers I believe are stainless steel also, but are also somewhat expensive. Most people love them. If you need to follow emissions get a good high flow cat and a nice 3" catback such as edelbrock, hooker, flowmaster, etc. Oh yeah and I wouldn't go with duals either, unless you really want to be spending some money and most likely have ground clearance problems, unless you have a really good muffler shop there.
