What is legal?
I have a V6 firebird, can i cut it off right after the cat and put dumps on, or will it sound bad and be ilegal, I want dumps, because they general sound better and give it more of a racing style, so if i have to have a muffler what should i get and dump it off. thanks.

IMHO, it will sound like sh*t. Sixes will ALWAYS have that old dump truck sound! Especially if they're unmuffled. You can't go wrong with either a Flowmaster or Edelbrock RPM Series muffler.
A loud exhaust is only illegal if you **** off a cop who hasn't made his quota of tickets that day!
