cat question

I have a stock exhaust setup and I'm going to put on an aftermarket 3 in cat back system. I'm going to get a new cat too, but I'm going to keep the y-pipe and headers. Is there a cat that has the 3 in outlet, and I think its a 2.5 in inlet for the stock y-pipe? prices? brands? its an 86 305 LG4. thanks.

Actually, I think the y-pipe on the stock exaust manifolds is 2-1/4 out. So u would need a 2.25 inlet and 3" outlet. Which will be pretty hard to find....
BTW: Try calling Summit and Jegs and see what they have in stock.
