CAT Thing?

I put in my own offroad pipe and I had to cut this small piece of pipe that went to my CAT. Exactly what was it and will mess anything up? Thanks for your help.

Probably for emmisions. If u didn't get an SES light then I guess don't worry about it.

the pipe comes from your air pump. It pumps fresh air into the cat to burn up fuel in the exhaust and get the cat to it's operating temperature. Works kind of like fanning a fire.
