Which gasket for edelbrock TES headers?NEED HELP!!!

The 305 TPI has 88' corvette heads and im installing edelbrocks TES headers. I ordered the the complete FELPRO gasket set and it included header gaskets. Which should i use the Felpro header gasket or the gasket that came with the edelbrock TES headers.

Go with a good 1 5/8" ROUND header gasket. The Edelbrock gasket will block the exhaust ports on your vette heads.

So in other words stick with the felpro gasket. The felpro was ordered for a stock 305 TPI so im guessing it was made for the 305 cast iron. Is there a difference.

Dude, you have both the Edelbrock and FelPro gaskets right there in front of you...and you're asking the world how they differ??

Hold 'em up and compare. Lay 'em over the exhaust ports, put a couple of bolts thru to hold 'em in place and see which one fits better.

Do some work man, it won't kill ya.

I used SCE Copper gaskets on the TES's on my 305. They worked great so far. Stage 8 bolts too.

DEFINITELY Fel-Pro...that's what I've got on mine. I've heard horror stories of the stock Edelbrock gaskets blowing after no time...and most anybody that tells you they won't has either never had experience with them or has had them on for less than two weeks. If you're gonna do the job, do it right the first time...going in to replace a blown header gasket is NO fun...you'll be happy with Fel-Pro. Good luck!
