I was thinking about doing something like that. the mufflers would be offset inlets and outlets. I was hoping that I could put both of the mufflers wedged against eachother , like in my diagram, under the passneger side then run the pipes under the axle, then exit out back in the stock locations.

I have it two. two - 2 chamber flowmasters side by side where the cat used to be. piping to go all the way back so it looks stock. all piping tucked higher than the stock 3" pipe, so i never scrape.

a-1 muffler shop in morgan hill, ca. did the job. tell him gary with the transam sent you. should give a good price.

I have headman headers and I am putting dual exaust on. It is going to have glass packs and dump in front of the back tires. But I have to make a special crossmember for the tranny.

I have/had true dual exhaust but I'm getting a different exhaust now (my car is in the shop for it right now).

Anybody know...what's the difference(if any) in HP with the true dual? I've just got flowtech hedders y-piped into my Dynomax muffler (no cat), but I was thinking of switching to the H or X pipe setup. Any opinions?

Factoring in full length headers, larger 3" collectors, two expansion chambers, and an H or X with two high flow mufflers you could probably see about 5 or 6% increase in power depending on engine size & RPM range.
