I have had these fail on me three times, and this will be printed out for the vendor whom sells them, to give him a better idea about the quality of the product, so please give me your opinion of Car Sound Cat Converters ? Please list all problems you have had, this will greatly benefit me thanks !!

 

I've had one of the 2 1/2" units (don't have the number handy) on my 83 SC, and prior to that on my 84 Z28; bought it in July of 95, and the only problem has been the AIR inlet tubes - they've rusted and fallen off the main body. Outside of that, no problem - I could still see through the 'honeycombing' as of last June...
It has seen about 55,000 miles of use in that time.

I have failed my emissions 3 times now to, but I put a different converter on, so now I'll see if the car sound was causing it or not.

 

They suck. I've had the misfortune to own one, only once, and that was plenty enough.
