Header Help

ok i got the money for Edelbrock TES headers and they are nickle plated so will they do fine and not crack or do i have to get them coated. i thought the nickle plating was a coating. im really kinda lost on all this so any help would be nice. also i work at an autoshop and i was thinking of just paying a mechanic to do the job and i was wondering if that would be the easiest way to go, cause im just still learning all this stuff. thanks for any help

Plating and coating are two different things. Its the coating that provides protection from rust. As for the install, I would seriously consider doing the job myself if I worked in an auto shop.....just ask one of the other mechs for help if you have a problem.
