Questions about a Y Pipe and costs
I am putting headers on my new engine. I don't know what kind of headers they are, they were given to me. They are not long tube headers. Do I need to get a custom Y pipe made or is there some sort of universal Y pipe that I can buy? Also, how much would each cost? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Well that depends if the ones you have are edelbrock TES, Hooker shorties the 50 state legal ones, hedman TES, or SLP all of these have y-pipes made for each individual header you can call summit jegs or wherever and get the replacment part but if you have no way of finding out what kind they are I would think a custom y- pipe is the only option.

They are headers VERY similar, if not the same, as these. If you can tell me what these are, then I might be able to come up with some solutions. Someone once said that they might be Dynomax, but I'm not sure.

If they are your headers they are long tubes and the only way to get a y pipe for them is to get one made or you could always run true duals.
