right now i have a 92 r.s. tbi and a borla muffler and tips. if i want to switch to 3" pipe all the way back am i going to have to switch mufflers. if i use a reducer from the 3" pipe into the 2 1/2" inch muffler will this be too much flow and get the exhaust trapped in the muffler?

If your going to do it, just sell the muffler and get one with a 3 inch inlet. It would be a waste to get 3in pipe and then put a 2.5in muffler on it.
