Does this sound like a good combo?

Ok guys, since i've got limited experince with this I figure I'll post and see if anyone's got some advice.
My current Idea is:
-Dynomax Cat back
-gutted cat
-Dynomax headers
Dynomax does have some attractive prices in jegs thats for sure! Now the things that have me wondering are size and sound. I'm 19, so i like it loud -evil grin-, and i've heard the dynomax isn't all that much more than stock. (or in my case, about the same, you guys gotta see what my pipe looks like going into the muffler, looks like it took a hit from a shotgun!) Would I better off with the FLO's, or would the hollow cat and headers make up for the quieter muffeler?
Also, i think the dynomax cat back is only 2 1/2 inch, but would i be better off with the smaller pipes like this at my rather low power level? I'd rather have the extra Backpressure from smaller pipes than a cat.I don't have a ton of $$ to spend, but me and some freinds will be installing the stuff ourselves (couple buds of mine are mechanics how cool is that!) SO anyway, does my current idea sound like something that'll do the job? Anyone used the dynomax headers before? Is the edelbrock TES worth the extra 30-40 bucks? Yeah i know lotsa questions, but hey, I'm pretty new at this and i DO read other posts lol. Just for the record I'll be doing free mods before any of this. Thanks all!

I got the Heddman headers and the Dynomax cat-back. I am running a Catco cat too. True, the Dynomax cat-back with Super Turbo muffler IS quiet, but I live on an Army base and in my neighbor hood, I almost have to have a toned down exhaust. But if you want loud, and save some cash check out this idea...

Get either the Dynomax or Heddman headers, which ever both are good, your choice. $99.00
(Oh, yeah, ya have to buy the y-pipe for the headers too. $89.00)

Then get just the intermediate pipe from Dynomax part number from Summit Racing WLK-46669. $65.39

Then buy the Flowmaster 80 series muffler for like $75.00. That should be pleanty loud for ya. Cheap too. Instead of getting the expensive system kits.

SO for the money that should be a heck of a system. Just a thought. Good luck!

Chris
