Single exaust V6 or V8?

I saw this blue camaro (third Gen). It had to be fairly new because it had the ground effects and an airbag. The ground effects said Z28, but it had single exaust. Is it a V6 trying to be a Z28, or did they make Z's with single exaust? Thanks.

A lot of aftermarket mufflers and everything have only one outlet. I'm not too familiar with the Z28's, so don't flame me, but I know that my v6 has a single in, dual out muffler, so it looks dual. Then again, I have seen 305's with one tailpipe. I dunno if you can really tell without actually asking or looking at the engine.

But I mean, did all Z28's and IROC-Z's come with 2 tailpipes?

Actually, the single side exit or duel exits on the drivers side are preferable. With duals on both sides all systems that I know of are limited to 2.25" pipes, duels on drivers side only are 2.50" and one sigle outlet is 3" or 4".

Flowmaster also makes a 3" single out, and Mufflex makes a 4" single out... Ahhh... Mufflex... Ok, I need to quit drooling. I really want that exhaust, something about a 4" exhaust just makes me feel all tingly...
