MAC exhuast, anyone heard it?

I currently have a flowmaster 80 series muffler and I'm debating between the Mac Exhuast with dual chrome tips or the flowmaster american thunder set.. Can anyone describe how the Mac sounds compared to the flowmaster? I don't want something super quiet and I really like the sound that the flowmaster makes.. However I have grown to really like the chrome tips on the mac.. SOmeone please help...

A friend of mine has one on his mustang and it sounds pretty sweet. It's very loud thought at WOT. I really couldn't compare it to the flowmaster but I was going to choose between it and a borla system. It seems like a very well built system. The factory is by my house and that guys has a dealer account I'm sure I could hook you up. If your interested drop me a line.

A friend of mine with an 88 IROC has one in his car which has a bunch of mods and is probably putting out about 315 hp, but still with the stock cam. It doesn't sound bad, I found the sound to be like an unrefined Borla. It's more mellow that many at idle and up but nice. If you are looking for the throaty power sound I highly suggest the Edlebrock cat back system. At idle it's not overbearingly loud, but when you push on it, it roars in ecstacy. Not to mention the muffler is really top notch and quite expensive on its own, but the rest of the system is all alluminized pipe, have had it on my car for alomst 5 years have there is vitually no rust and I'm up in weathery NY. Have fun and good luck.

MAC had a HUGE reputation for rusting bad a few years ago. I dunno if things have changed since then.
