How much hp will headers give me on my camaro
it is a 82 with a 84 305 ho motor in it
I have a 3 inch exhaust with not cat on my car

HOW much will headers give me ???

probably like 20 - 15 at the crank. just a guess

 

headers really don't contribute too much hp by themselves. with your setup you should get about 8-10 crank hp. GMHTTP just did a dyno on a 89 formula 305 TPI with headers and they only added 8 rwhp.

since your motor has lower output than the one GMHTTP tested expect overall gains to be slightly lower.

put another way, with the COMBINATION of your cat back and the headers you prolly have net gain of 15-17 rwhp (17-20 crank).
