Any way to replace dual cats on LB9 w/ 2 offroad pipes???

I have a 89 IROC 305 TPI-G92 w/ dual cats. I was wondering if I could somehow cut em off and put two pipes in their place. Is it a lot of work and is it worth it? I wanna do it to produce more sound and hp along with my bad-*** Flowmaster catback w/ 3.5" tips welded on. Plus my 77K V8 unfortunetly has bad valve guides or seals or somethin. I blows out blue smoke only after it sits for a long time. I'm thinkin maybe it could be cloggin up my cats and why not just replace em? If anyone has a clue in which is the easiest way, I would really appreciate it. What do I do w/ the 2 air tubes? Will it screw w/ my computer or sensors?

Anyone? Has it been covered before? How do I gut or replace the dual cats?
