Small problem with AIR tubes on TES headers. need a ? anwsered...

i bought TES headers for a TPI motor to be used on my carbed, originally LG4 motor. (still have LG4 exhaust) i am looking at it and the air tube inlet on top of the header on the drivers side is facing the wrong way. So can i just run the hose around the back of the motor and then plug it onto the pass. side port on the smog pump, then put the pass. side on the drivers side? yeah i know confusing, but it's the only way i can think of to route everything without having kinks in the hoses. Any thoughts??

Your best bet would be to find a hose with the proper bends. When I did my headers I had to get a heater hose from a late model pickup to connect the driver's side AIR fitting as it was straight up and the stock manifold was at a 90 degree angle. Check with NAPA,Advance, or your GM dealer.
