Hey whats up..........

Summit or Jegs makes a o2 relocater kit. All it is, is a nut that you weld to your pipe to screw your o2 sen. into. It don't matter where its at just as long as it on the Pipe itself. Hope I helped

The O2 sensor isnt a part of the cat, why should it matter?

Some muffler shop guy told me that you cant remove the cat because the o2 sensor is on it. That didn't sound right to me either. Figures, this is the same guy who screwed up my exhaust in the first place. Never go to the Midas in Albany Ga.

yea its the air tube, the o2 sensor is on the manifold, just tell him to pull the tube off, although it may take alittle work. and then considering he works at an exhaust shop ask him if he has clue

Don't have a shop do it take it off yourself its simple. Just get a some pipe and pipe connecters and clamp it on.

All O2 sensors I have seen are mounted either on the header or just after the exhaust manifold. When I had my truck (Chevy with a 350) done, I was told you have to be careful removing the CAT because it changes the amount of oxygen in the exhaust pipes between the engine and the CAT and the O2 sensor will notice this and try to change the air/fuel mixture to compensate an they the engine will not have the correct AF mixture. This is just what I was told, don't know if its the truth or not. Hope this help.
