Replacement A.I.R. tubes?
hey,
I'm getting ready to build the 350 for my '83 (the 305 came out last weekend!). I want to keep it all stock looking and smog legal (don't bother talking me out of it
). My question is if the stock a.i.r. tubes that go into the manifolds are still available. I replaced one of mine (passenger side) with a used one but it's blown/rusted out now too. I would like to put new ones on if they are available. I also need a new air tube to the cat. can I simply bend my own from aluminum tubing or how does that go?
can you still get them from GM? someone else?
thanks
Clem

Ummm... Did you call the dealer/Dal? Probably available, if not hit a junkyard.

haven't called the dealer yet. I figured I'd check here to see if anyone knew if they'd have them or if there was another good source. I'm NOT going to get them from the junkyard because I've already done that and they wear out just the same...
nobody had probably ever replaced these
just ripped them off.
oh well,
Clem
What's DAL?

Dal is a man that works at VanDevere Pontiac who gives us an "internet" discount. His number is : 800 362-9494. Make sure you told him that you got his number from the thirdgen.org site so you get the discount.
