I'm looking to buy this cat back and want to know what all i can get. I'm wanting a 3 inch intermediate pipe and a crossflow muffler. What part number is this and what kind of tips will it come with?

the muffler is a cossflow and has longer tips(not like the stock turn-downs) that come out past the rear bumper cover)
i think this kit comes with a 40 series flowmaster muffler

no you need part #17233. it is for a 3 inch converter.

Ok, so pn #17233 american thunder 3 inch intermediate crossflow and 3" tail pipes. That sounds exactly like what i want. Does it have stainless tips?

 

i had a 3" converter in my 89 iroc....when i bought it and it was stock exhaust just measure it

 

Yeah i'm pretty sure the 3 inch cat is stock on my car too.

 

ya the 3 inch cat is stock on my 88 TA ......

 

yes part 17233 has the stainless tips. it is the kit you want. 3inch coverter is stock on the HO 350 cars for 88 and up. I do not know about earlier years.
