Now that I put my headers on and the universal 3" cat from catco my car is really loud. It is this normal? It is almost as loud as it was when I ran open headers. Is there something I should check, I already retightened the header bolts. I think there might be holes where the cat is welded in but very small holes. Please give me some suggestions.

Headers will always be louder than stock manifolds. A high-flow cat like your Catco will not muffle the sound significantly. Make sure there are NO exhaust leaks, especially around the cat. I had an exhaust leak (where the cats are supposed to be) and tried to kill myself and two of my friends with Carbon Monoxide on a trip to Florida and back. Not good. "I'm kinda tired," "I have a headache," "Rooaddds, rooods, rrrroad." It will also keep your car from backfiring on decelleration. I bet that hooker cat-back sounds sweet with those new headers.
