My stock muffler bit the dust so now I am trying to decide what I want to do for an exhaust. I don't know to much about exhausts so I am asking for your opinions.
The current set up is 2.5 Inch pipes I believe. (whatever factory is) The pipes are fine its just the exhaust that needs to be replaced.
1. Do I need to replace all the pipes for 3" or can I just use the current 2.5 and just replace the muffler?? How much difference would there be??
2. Would I need to replace the Catilac converter if I got with all new 3" pipes???
3. What exhaust do you recommend?
4. Will this exhaust be fully compatible if I change my engine to a 350 TPI or 383 stroker???
Thanks for help!

You can get a stock replacement to fit where the old one is, but who would that. The easiest systems to install are flowmaster cat backs. They'll supply you with all the pipe right up to your 2.5in cat.

It doesn't make sense to put a new muffler on what is probably rusted out tail pipes.
My ehaust setup is in my sig and I love it....but many people will give good opinions about other types of exhaust setups
