How Good? (for now)

In the process of making a "for now" exhaust system until I totally redue the whole car. And was wondering how much better/worse the setup I am changing it to. The cat converter was removed and a 2 1/2" by 30" cherry bomb was installed. removed the back mufflers and tips and are just going to put tips striaght back (the cops don't care what the crap you do with your exhaust here). I know this setup may seem a little silly but i wanted to get rid of the converter and anyways it will be replaced this summer when the car gets totally redone. This seems to me like it won't have alot of back pressure, tell me what you think. oh yeah, the car is a 83TA with a LG4 (hehe, I'm gonna say bye bye to the LG4 soon )

Your car should run perfectly fine!!!!

I was thinking about doing that cherry bomb setup on my 82 then getting a cat cover and welding it on, shortly after i had this idea i moved to a city that has no emmisons laws except the usual "if its there dont remove it or else!!!" Well needless to say i riped the cat off and welded a pipe in place. It sounds alot better and there is more power and better economy 10% better fuel economy.
The back pressure issue is fake!!!! a good example is to take a jug of water and cut a small dime size hole in it and see how long it take the water to drain. Then cut the hole to a quarter size and time it again. Hmmmm i wonder wich one will drain faster????
I have an 82fbird with no cat and a high flow muffler it runs great. I also have an 85 camaro with a 350 and dual exhaust it runs great. The backpressure isue is fake!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry about the ranting this issue make me mad to say the least SSC

Got it installed and tried it out, it makes the LG4 sound ALOT better. I was surprised at how much better it sounds. The car also seems to run alot better, thanks for your input.
