Hooker shorties, no cat & Hooker 3in catback is too LOUD

After installing shorties and strait pipe and Hooker 3in catback, all I can say is I need a quieter system. Anyone know of a quieter system for a 'single cat' 350? Dynomax? I still need the 3in system, so Ive heard I need to buy each part seperately. Anyone know the part #s for the 3 inch I pipe and muffler and tailipes? Thanks!

Putting your cat back on will be quieter and less expensive than replacing the whole cat back. Even a high flow cat will reduce the sound level and remove the pup op in your exhaust.

Ditto, get a catco 3in cat. Should cost around $90.

A quieter system? Nah, just take of your skirt and you should be fine.

Okay, seriously, I have the same system, it is loud, I guess it isn't for everyone. A cat would eat up alot of the noise. Also, the Hooker system has tailpipes that go straight back, with those nasty chrome dual quads to distort the sound even more. I kept the system but ditched the tailpipes, now I have stock-style dynomax tails that are angled down slightly. So they act a bit like turndowns and it sounds cleaner, not as sloppy. Still loud though.

The tailpipes came from Summit, can't find the receipt but I got the part #'s from the archives.
