little banged but should be fine. the bang is on an opening and should come out easy. part numbers are in my sig. Try to have them put it in a box though

Hey, how much was it and where'd you get it from? I'm gonna need to get one shortly, and this one is probably better than one a shop would bend for me (mandrell vs crimp). Do you think it will work with a dual cat set up?

I dunno if it works for dual cat setup. The flange is there to bolt directly to a stock type cat. I ordered mine from summit with the 10% off discount code. It came to $114.69 I think the sale is done today. www.summitracing.com I was also thinking of having a muffler shop order the pieces but then you have to pay tax on that. But maybe they get their parts delivered in better condition... As long as you know the PN and prices, a shop shouldn't try to screw you. I looked all around before I got the PNs myself and didn't get quoted anything less than $220. Max quote was $300 installed just for this pipe!!!

 

hey thanks, i might try it out after I talk to a couple of shops and see if they can cut it or something to make it fit a dual cat car, I still think that would be cheaper and better, like you said...$115 compared to $300

 

man you got riped i bought mine for 56 bucks. That was not from summit but i checked there and they had a similar price at the time. that was more than 2 years ago though. I ended up runnint the mac headers off road pipe and dynomax pipe with a flow master and 4th gen z-28 tips out back. the whole thing cost me a little under 700. I did get a serious hookup though. but still the dealer cost on that pipe was 38 bucks 2 years ago. i can't imagine it changeing that much in 2 years.

considering one shop wanted $300 to put a 3" mandrel pipe in, The other wanted $220, and the other wanted $240. I think I got a great deal. If you got a "hookup", good for you but comparing that to retail is meaningless. Dynomax has to make money on it, Summit has to make money on it, a guy with a muffler shop would have to make money on it(if I let it get that far). On the topic of prices, my whole exaust still came out less than yours.
