SLP tri-y headers
SLP tri-y headers
Does SLP still make the tri-y headers? I have seen them before in books and magazines, but I have never heard of anyone having them on their car.
The tri-y's are supposed to be superior to the regular shorties by improving the "scavenging" of the exhaust.
Does anyone have these??

I have them. They don't make them anymore. I bought mine in 1989. Have had them on and off about 7 times. The flanges are still straight. Have only had to spot weld a couple of AIR tubes through the years. Better quality than what they make today, although todays are still good. They only made them with 1 5/8" primaries, but the tubes are equal length. They go into 2 2" pipes (where the Y-pipe used to go), and exit into a 3" collector.
