Header coating?

Is this worth the amount of money that is cost. I have also heard of people baking their headers in the oven. I want to put headers on but don't want to pay 200.00 to have them jet hot coated. Will baking them work or is any of this really necessary?

I don't think it is. You can buy 3 sets of some headers for what Jet hot charges to coat one. I used the header paint you have to bake in the oven on mine. It doesn't look as good as Jet Hot, but it kept them rust free, and only cost $7.
