The best exhaust for thirdgens once and for all-*Read this*
i have alot of freinds the have thirdgens. And the best exhaust for thirdgens is, in my opinion, SLP headders one highflow cat and an exhaust cut out right under the rear passenger seat. I have had several different systems on my car but this one has the most touque and power. Keep in mind that this is just my opinion but i just wanted to tell yall what worked for me.

I have had several different systems on my car. Stock, no cat just ran through a flomaster 80 series, also i have ran it through the cat and the flows, but all in all i love it running through the cat then right out the cut out. But i will be scraping the set up i have now for long tubes and two flow 40 series then exits right in front of the rear wheels.
edelbrock TES w/no cats through edelbrock catback, thats nice

I don't know man, I ran my car through headers, a cat and then out of the 3" I pipe right after the rear axle and I thought it sounded like total *** (for one day, said to hell w/ that). Too damn loud and it sounded like a helicopter or something...

Fellas, first off im just saying that this system is-in my opinion-the best way to go. It worked for me and i just thought it was the best for my application. Yalls may be different. Its just somthing to try. not "the only way to go".
Well just thought id say that.
But good luck with what ever you put on.

Yah, but Edelbrock headers suck.
I've heard the Dynomax UltraFlow and SLP 2-on-the-left, and I like them both better than my Flowmaster. :-/

With all the exhausts I've heard, Flowmaster sounds the best.
Definitly Flowmaster (Delta Force II) better than that Borla or Random Technology crap). Sure their stainless steel but Borla is 6 inches shorter and if u pay over $400.00 for a catback u must be shot. The SLP catback are nasty looking and not worth the money in my opinion get the flowmaster.
