I know some of the people are running this combo and can give a little insight. Was there any problems using 1 5/8 SLP headers and the edelbrock 6085 heads, namely the fitament of the spark plugs?

what brand of plug number did you use?

I'd call Edelbrock and get their recommedation for which plug to use and fill them in on your headers too.

I have a similiar problem with my car. Hooker SC/LT headers and AFR heads. #7 plug won't go in, too long.

I ran 1 3/4" SLP headers with the 6085 heads last year....no plug problems at all.....plenty of clearance
