Headers
I'm swapping out my 305 carb for a 350 carb. The 350 is a 70's style one, don't know exactly what year it would be.
My question is: When buying headers do I have to match it with the car I drive (86 Z28) or the engine thats in it (70's 350)?

They're both SBCs, so if you order for your car, would be best, that way you will be sure to have the headers to clear certain parts. BUT, when you order the headers, for example, if you get Edelbrock, get the ones with a 3'' y pipe, I believe the ones desingned for 350 TPI is the one. Just be sure to ask the sales tech.

You may also consider what size headers.
I'd recommend 1.75" headers to go with that 350. But others here may have different opinions.

Yeah, 1 3/4 might be good , though 1 5/8 will support up to around 400 hp fine, at least you'll only have to buy headers once.
