power gains from Cat removal on a G92 cars
I know that the G92 cars got more power from the dual cats over the single cat cars. But I was wondering is there any gain haveing the cats removed over the single system with the cat removed.
just wondering?

In carcraft, it said they gained about 4-5 hp eliminating both cats and replacing it with a 3" pipe but lost heavily on torque at about 9-11 lbs/ft. I'm not sure if I'll do this because with our displacement we need all the torque we can get.

I did not take off my cat but what I did was:
1. Unbolted the cat on the rear side of the car
2. Then I took a long rod and broke up the cerramic inside of the cat
3. Next I fired up the motor and blew out all of the CRAP!
4. Then rebolted the cat to the exaust.
5. I dont have any numbers but form about 35-55 mph there is a huge torque increase, and there is noticable difference throughout the rpm range
And it passed e-checl
