I don't have the actual mufflex brand however I do have something similar. I have the hooker long tube super comp headers going into a custom fabricated y pipe 3" on each side into a 4" pipe all the way back then through a 4" dynomax and it is F%CKING CRAZY LOUD!!!! Loudest thing Ive heard on the street. Its at the shop right now getting a cuttout like the borla so I can run it striaght through It also sounds really awesome if you have a fairly high redline like with my 6000rpm redline it sounds like a ferrari on steroids and crack

i ran the spintech muffer when i had the v6 in. it was ok, not to loud not to quiet. i had a single muffler running into the spintech with two outlets. the only thing i didnt like was that after letting go of the throttle it kinda pops. but then it might have just been the sucky 2.8 that was in it.

I'm running a 3 inch spintech w/TES headers.. sets off car alarms so it's pretty dang loud I think Couldn't even hear my friends 90 Camaro with flowmasters when mine was running. Think I've got the pro shoot out model for racing only.

Mufflex 3.5" with SpinTech 3.5" in/single 3.5" out. sounds "big" (alot quieter than the Flowmaster, but just loud enough).

I'm running the 4-inch and it sounds sweet! Probably one of the best I've ever heard. Not to loud but at WOT, damn!

i HAD the mufflex. Well, still do. I am changing it around some. I have the flowmaster but I am removing it in favor of a dynomax ultraflow 4" round muffler. Just put a sumped tank in so have to stay away from that. here is a pic with the muffler held in place. Going to cut the over axle pipe and weld a bend so that it goes over the axle and then drops back down a bit then bends into the muffler. Then a turndown on the end. All on the passenger side.
