Dynomax 4" race mufflers.....
Anyone using either the 12" or 16" long - 4" in/out 4-1/2" diameter Dynomax race mufflers? How loud? How bad/good?
I have a carbed 383 IROC with Hooker SC/LT headers and a Mufflex 3" to 4" y-pipe. Now I need to add a muffler (or two) for the street and remove them for racing.
I am actually thinking of running two 12" Dynomax mufflers in series or one 12" and one 16" in series to reduce sound yet retain the full 4" exhaust. Borla has a 16" muffler ($$$) as well, but they actually recommended the Dynomax mufflers to me for lower sound and cost reasons!!
Anyways, what do you guys think?
Thanks!
