Is this system possible??
Is this system possible??
I own a 92 camaro with a 350 TPI, and i was wondering wether or not this system would work, and is it available...
Headers w/o AIR, but with a 02 fitting
Y pipe, but not cats
and then hook that to a hooker cat back system
now, do they sell a bolt in application for this, or will i have to modify the cat back system with a straight peice of pipe to take the place of the cats?? thanks a lot guys

The cat-back is just that: from the cat, backwards. so yes you will need a straight-pipe to join the catback to the y-pipe.
I have seen thirdgen headers without AIR tubes, but the computer can't function properly without input from the o2 sensor. So someone should make headers in the configuration you want(Hooker does this I believe - SuperComps). At worst you could always have an o2 bung welded on, as near as possible to the exhaust port.

I could be wrong but I think SLP offers their 1 3/4 headers w/o air and they have the O2 bung there. You might want to take a look at their site for more info.
This is actually the same type of setup I plan on putting on when I no longer have to take the Z through emissions.
Hope that helps, Good Luck!!
