Y-Pipe Question

I currently have hedman "shorty" headers on my car, and I have removed the rest of the exhaust system. I am going to purchase a hooker cat-back system this week, and was wondering if I should go ahead and order the hedman y-pipe or just have the exhaust shop fabricated one for me. I was wondering if there was a significant price difference between the two, and the benifits.

83 Z28, 305(LG4), T-tops, T-5 Transmission, Centerforce Dual-Friction Clutch, Hedman Shorty Headers, Weiand Stealth, 650 Double Pumper

Future Mods: Cam (undecided), Hooker cat-back

I would get the y-pipe and put it on myself. If you have someone make it then you have to pey for the pipe and also the labor. You would save money the first way.
