EFI TRUE DUAL EXHAUST LIKE IMSA!!!!!!!!
im swapping my tunnelram to a EFI syst.!
i already have the car prepared for a real floor true dual exhaust: new gastank with diff location,rear seat "bowls" cut to route the pipes..both going over the axle ...and yes left and right side!
the car ist is 2,5 cm off the k-member to ground so we did our own headers ( i ran diff k-member+coilover)
a hrs later my Q!
we are free to put the cats everywhere in germany (not in the trunk , that´s clear!)
i want to use two of them and two o2 sensor , does anybody have a haltech or other sys that makes this possible?
does someone run two cats with two sensors?
i know u will asked , but this is stupid over here: my race class wants all changes in the paper! as a plate car we need a smog check that is far diff to the us! my inspector saw a lt1 motor with two o2 sensors and that motor is in a cleaner tax/smog group...u guessed it : he wants to see that change on my next motor!

if u upgrade to another motor in germany u need a smog or better carb number if that wasnt done before ull be paying around 10000dollar for that dmv test !
so if i go there i pretty much say yes to anything this guy is asking for before he is asking for the emission carb test! emagine what companies like edelbrock go thru before they get this carb sticker!

the second O2 sensor won't help anything unless you plan to do precise bank-to-bank tuning. and then only if you have an ecm that can use two sensors and can do individual cylinder adjustments.
then again why fight the jack@ss inspector who thinks having a second sensor will make the car run any cleaner? install the second sensor and run the wires so they appear to go to the ecm, but route them to an O2 gauge. having the gauge will make calibrating the efi a little easier, give you an idea of what the engine is doing under differing conditions and will make the ******** inspector think you complied with his instructions. you can have your cake and eat it, you just have to pay a little more!
