Installing hooker exhaust

Hey, i just got my hooker cat-back, and wanted to know how long, and complicated it would be take to remove my stock and install this one. I've never done it or seen it done, and it doesn't sound complicated at all, but i don't want to mess anything up. I've been trying to more of my car modifications on my own for the experience, but i don't want to try something i can't handle. anyway, any suggestions are appreciated. thanks

That should be REALLY easy for you as long as you have jackstands and the right wrenches.

Basically just take off your old one however the easiest way you can think of. Most people take it off the cat first. Then just bolt the new one up. Take your time and you will be fine..

Starting from the cat and working backwards seemed to be the way to go for me when putting the new system on. Also, you might consider sawing or cutting through the old exhaust with a torch. Getting pieces off is easier IMHO, and a whole lot more fun!

One more thing, if you decide not to weld the tailpipes to the muffler, get the strongest clamps you can find and tighten them down till either your wrench or your arms break. Otherwise, they will loosen and droop further with every bump in the road.
