I bought Summit headers for my 89 bird with a 350 in it.. will an exhaust from a stock 86 305 fit it? Thanks..

I only bought summitt headers and I put them on the 89 I have that I just put a 350 and th350 in.. (used to be a 2.8 700r4).

I also bought a 86 T/A for certain parts I needed for the swap it has a 305 in it. So I am sitting with my 89 with open summitt headers and I don't know what exhaust I need to put on it (a summitt y pipe??) I guess I'll check if the 86 exhaust fits..

I guess being new to all this mechanical and exhaust stuff, I don't know much.. but it only makes sense to me that If they sell headers for a car they would also make a exhaust that fits it.

nope, you gotta get a custom y-pipe. prolly cost around 80-90 bucks at a exaust shop. i got a custom front y-pipe for my custom made 1 3/4 headers at a performance exaust shop for right around 100 bucks with tax.
