1 Last quick question b4 I install my headers..
If i unbolt one motor mount, put a block of wood under the oil pan and jack up the motor just enough to slip the header on the side, is it possible to screw up the engine or transmission?
Or will it likely be fine as long as I don't jack it up too much?
I have 2 full days to get the headers, cat, catback installed so I can take my time and do it right.. Please let me know what you think the best way is..

You should be just fine doing it that way. I would however recommend lifting it up both sides keeping the engine sort of level (side to side anyway) to get both headers on easier at the same time.
Only word of caution I can think of though is when you are jacking up the engine, keep an eye on the distributor to firewall distance. If you jam the dizzy against it, you have a very high probability of breaking something bad! Otherwise, should go pretty smoothly for you.
Good luck and let us know how things went!

Ok, I'm still waiting for Ups to deliver.. Knowing my luck they will drop it all off at 4:59 ... I really hate waiting for shipments.. At least I have all the old crap out of there now...
Ok, midnight. Time to call it a night.
Stuff came in about 2:00.. Ripped open the boxes.. got everything layed out and called a friend over to help..
As of right now, I have the headers in, y-pipe connected(man that was hard to do with only one person), and all the stuff under the hood is back in order.
I had a few minor setbacks, such as: I broke off the threads from the old air tube onto the diverter valve.. I'll have to get a new one tommorow, I don't think electrical/metal tape is going to hold it for that long. Also, A vacuum line from the AC controls came out when I put the pass. side header in.. I'm not sure where it goes because it is black and everything else is black under the hood.. Dipstick is also not going to be operable right now.. I have to do some MAJOR bending because when I put the Pass. Side header in, I just put the dipstick tube all the way towards the AC compressor.. The A/C bracket isn't even CLOSE to fitting.. Thats not a problem because I'm going to decide soon if I even need an A/C anymore, i never use it, the engine gets a little too hot for comfort and it sucks all HP out of my already slow LO3.
The hardest part was definatly the drivers side header. It wasn't bad at all though, and I think I was surprised at how well things went. I did have to pull the valve covers and replace the gaskets (1 was blown, whoops).. I'll post a followup tommorow letting you guys know what kind of performance gains I got with adding headers, 3" cat, 3" flowmaster cat back and increased fuel pressure.
