large tube headers...

hi everyone, been away from my car for a very long time. i had originally put a stroker 406 in the car with stock l98 heads. i have since put a 420 dry sump motor in my 87 camaro, brodix track 1's, a superam with 1,000 cfm tb. my problem is.... i know my tes headers are too small. what can i fit into the car. i took out my a/c box, and am now looking to remove power brake booster for a manual brake setup for more room. just dont know what i can fit in there that will flow huge air. this is no way a "street legal" car so i dont care about air tubes.
can anyone here help me?
thaks in advance

SLP 1 3/4's maybe, SLP's are some of the best headers u can buy.

I think hooker makes some 1-3/4 longtubes you might want to look at. I think they also make 1-7/8 shorties for big block swaps so they might have them for small blocks also.
beyond those sizes I think you are looking into customs.

Considering the heads you are using. And the displacment of that motor. I would second the Hooker 1 3/4 long tubes. Forget about the SLPs the small collectors will choke it.

I have the Hooker 1 3/4 long tubes, they are great! Installation is a *****, and you lose about 1.5" or 2" ground clearance. The only thing I would change is I would have had them jet hot coated.

Hooker 1 3/4" long tubes are the only way to go if you have a big inch motor. Don't waste your time with the 1 3/4" SLP's. Like stated above....the install is not all that fun...lots of monkeying around with other items to get enough clearance and you do lose the ground clearance a bit. I have a Moroso 6 qt. pan on my motor and the collectors sit 1 inch below it.
