Can you?

My next mod is getting headers...
I have been told that it is very hard to run duels on are cars...
Is it possible for me to run TRUE(without 2in 2 out cat) duel. How would I do this and what would I need to get...

Also bigger is better right.....
What would be the best headers to fit on my car... I dont mind changing the exhaust to fit duel o that can change.. Thx

unless you want to perform some fabrications, such as modifying your floorboard I would not try to run true duels.

you wouldn't see much gain from runnong true duals, you would benefit just as much from a good cat, headers and cat back system, with dual outs from the muffler.

I would just go with a single system, 2 3/4 for light mods, or 3" if u are going to be really modding that TBI. 1 3/4 headers would be too much for your car even if it was really modded.

Bigger is not always better, especially when you're talking header primary tube size. SLP recommends 1-5/8" primary for 305s, 1-3/4" for 350s. The more "conventional" recommendations are 1-1/2" for 305s, 1-5/8" for 350s, 1-3/4" for race 350s or 383s, etc., although admittedly that is typically for long tubes.

Unless you've got a 350 or 383 in your future, stick with 1-5/8" primaries max. Shorties with a y-pipe with 2-1/2" downpipes to 3" at the cat will be fine. True duals would be a true waste of time & money with a 305 when good flowing 3" cats & catbacks are available and bolt right on.
