Good catback/recording for a 99 Grand Am (3.4 SFI)?
A friend of mine, who really wanted an 81 TA, but whose mom said no, got a 99 Grand Am this week...it's quiet as heck, which is cool in brand new cars, but she already wants it loud...I think it's a similar engine to at least 4th gen 6-bangers, so what would you recommend? I've heard hooker would work...but she's COMPLETELY adverse to it sounding like a weedwacker...she's an all-American girl that would take a beat-up 77 TA over brand new rice any day of the week...does anyone have recordings of 3.4L exhaust setups? Please, please, please, she doesn't want it to sound like rice...what's the options? Thanks...

I;m not sure what they would sound like, probably like the 4th gen 3.4. SLP sells a rear kit for the GTs, I'm sure it wouldnt take much to make it fit hers. Check it out at www.slponline.com
